Water Crisis may lead to Global War
Water is such a valuable resource and the fact of the matter is we are running out of it fast. This means that countries will be fighting to get clean water for their people and the market will start to get heated.
Some water facts revealed that an astounding 80% of the entire world population does not have access to clean water. China mainly gets its water supply from ocean water so a lot of money and resources are spent on converting the salt water to fresh water.
With all this attention on salt water, China could be missing out on the precious fresh water available. A huge dilemma in countries is that water is a wasted resource. Since it is so available to us, we neglect to remember its importance in all kinds of survival necessities. Without water our bodies would not function. Without water our plants would not grow. And last but not least energy resources could not be harnessed.
The United States is a poor example on water woes but countries in the Middle East like Pakistan and further south in Africa are having intense disputes over the wasting of water. Too many people need clean water and have no access to it for the resource to be just wasted. The supply is limited yet the demand is so large; this tension, water crisis can lead to disputes, even wars between countries.
